Facebook, Twitter and a number of other services have banned Trump because they claim that he incited sedition during his speech at the Capital. On top of that, conservative voices have been silenced on social media sites and Parler, an alternative social media site was removed from Amazon Web Service hosting with less than a days notice because it didn’t meet the censorship requirements that the tech oligarchs are demanding.
So what exactly did Trump say that started all of this. Since the majority of people that have an opinion on it have probably not even bothered listening to the speech, here’s the exact quote that the Left is using to justify the ban:
“We’re gonna walk down to the Capitol and we’re gonna cheer on our brave senators and congressmen and women and we’re probably not gonna be cheering so much for some of them because you’ll never take back our country with weakness you have to show strength, you have to be strong.”
That’s it. Not the greatest paragraph ever spoken but certainly not rising to the level of sedition that the left would have you believe.
This has been going on for four years. They take something Trump says, turn it around, pretend outrage and fire up their base to go in for the kill. It’s disgraceful.
